From concept to clean-up, we have disrupted, innovated and revolutionised every aspect of the business of Sports and Events.
We are a Southern African Industry leader, with a proud and proven track record that bears testimony to our commitment to excellence in everything we do.
WHERE WE COME FROM
Access Management was founded in 2009 by Managing Director, Rian Oberholzer (former SA Rugby MD) and Chairman, Songezo Nayo (former National Sports Council Senior Manager, SA Rugby MD, and 2010 FIFA World Cup Final Venue Stadium Manager).
With more than 50 years’ collective experience at the very pinnacle of the continent’s Sports-facility, Events and Entertainment Industries, our founders sought to set a new standard in the efficiency and impact with which sporting events, brands and organisations are marketed, leveraged and delivered to the public. And, in the process, to amplify the returns involved for all stakeholders.
Our initial focus was the management of Nelson Mandela Stadium in Port Elizabeth.
Out of necessity and ambition, however, our expertise expanded into a number of new specialties, including Event Management (offering turn-key solutions for events on all scales), Stakeholder Management, Sponsorship and Brokerage, Brand Activations, Tender Bid and Proposal Development, as well as Business Management and Structure Consulting Services to sports unions, brands, sponsors, federations, municipalities, provinces, and SMMEs.
Since then, we have grown from strength to strength, successfully staging world-class events and managing partnerships across Southern Africa’s major cities.
Partnering for the long haul
The lasting, thriving partnerships we have established over the past seven years of continuous growth bear testimony to our philosophy of collaboration and long-term commitment.
Our strong relationships with both South African and international event owners, teams, national federations and government entities have grown into an unrivalled network of connected resources. The benefits of each of these partnerships enable us to better serve all of our clients, whilst each new relationship we forge further deepens our value-proposition as we continue to grow and thrive.
Committed to Fair Play
We are fully committed to the growth and sustainability of Sport for the good of those who play it, earn their livelihoods through it, the economies that benefit from it, and the people who gain joy, inspiration and opportunity through participation in it.
From facilitating economic impact assessments, to highlighting the roles of events in the long-term economic outlook of their regions, we are fully committed to leaving behind a wake of good wherever we operate, in both long and short-term endeavours alike. We are, at our core, lovers, servants, and fans of sport. We deeply believe in its power to bring good into the world.
